Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' is a honey skin cream.
Honey, Ginseng, Royal jelly, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, Calendula, Camomille,
Aloe vera and Avacado oil ...
amongst other ingredients. I was made to help with psoriasis and eczema but is also used for cracked fingers, cracked heels and chaffed feet, it will help take the pain out of a burn that you get in the kitchen and help preven it from scarring and has even helped clear up scars. The calendula and chamomile were included partly as anti-inflammatories so will help with itching, whether it is just dry itchy skin or the itch of a mosquito bite or other insect bite.
It is an amazing moisturizer. Honey and calendula are both humectants and as such absorb and retain moisture. So, use for dry elbows, dry winter skin or dry itchy skin from swimming in chlorinated water. It handled that chlorine itch beautifully.
You will find that as you use it, you will often need it less. The honey and calendula will keep the skin hydrated. Many people find that they can put it on in the morning and wash their hands several times throughout the day and not have to re-apply and the skin on their hands do not get dry and cracked from the continuous washing. It makes one of our biggest client bases the health industry(Nurses). We have kiosks in many hospitals and sell to staff there as they can use Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' at work as there are no smelly fragrances or perfumes, there is pretty much no smell at all. Nurses are washing their hands sometimes a hundred times a day, the soaps are caustic, the sanitizers are nasty and the gloves they use just eat away at their skin. When they are using Thentix, their skin on their fingers and knuckles does not get dry and cracked. And they do not have to apply constantly.
Similar to the health industry we have food services and salons where people are using water and sometimes, as with salons, a lot of chemicals. We have a lot of men using the product as there are no perfumes and Thentix is not greasy or oily. Ocassionally, someone will find it so but only if they put too much on or they have something else on their skin that is acting as a barrier. Thentix goes into the skin to heal and hydrate, it does not sit on the surface as a glove.
It is great for things like shaving as it is water based and one can put it on the skin with a little water and get a smoother shave and prevent razor burn. Use this for shaving your face, legs or anywhere.
Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' can safely be used on the face as it will not clog pores. It has no glycerin, wax, mineral oil, or petrolatum. No parabens.
As you know there are thousands of skin care products in the world. The cosmetic industry is one of the largest industries in the world. I know people with shelves full of different products to care for their skin.
"I came across Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' several years ago. I was working a lot with a superglue type of product called Mister Glue . I was constantly peeling the glue off my fingers as it dried, often taking some skin with it. I had tried 4-5 different skin creams and lotions but most were too greasy and adversely affected the work I was doing. Glue doesn't work very well on greasy surfaces, which was ok for my fingers but not for the surfaces I was trying to glue. As I started to use the Thentix, I found my cracked dry fingers healing up much more rapidly than before. Normally it would take several days for the skin on my fingers to go back to "normal". Now with the Thentix, within 24-48 hours the cracks in the skin of my fingers were completely gone. Believe me, this made life a whole lot more pleasant."
