Abrasions, cuts, scrapes...
- apply Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' several times a day.  Honey is anti-bacterial and Calendula Extract is an antiseptic.  Makes it safe to put on open cuts and scrapes.  You don't need huge amounts but a number of times a day is good for several days until things are healed up.

Acne...
- again antibacterial and antiseptic properties and also one of the ingredients: ginseng, helps with circulation and oxygenates.  This all goes to clearing up Acne and does help prevent scarring.  I get asked by teens all the time.  Some it helps with more than others.  I tell all that Thentix lotion cannot compete with three pizzas and six chocolate bars a week.

Itchyness, insect bites and the like...
- calendula extract and chamomile are both anti inflammatories.  The product was originally made to help with Psoriasis and Eczema so something for the itching and inflammation was needed.  If you get a mosquito bite, put on a small amount and leave it. The itch should be gone very quickly.  Swimmer take note: Thentix is marvellous for that chlorine itch.  Even if you have to apply to your itchy calves 2-3 times a day for a few days, as Thentix actually is a conditioner, you will need it less and less.  Once under control, two or three times a week should be fine.
I should say also at this point that Thentix lotion has numerous times, ironically enough,  taken the sting out of bee stings, wasp and hornet stings, amazing as that sounds!!

Chapped Lips, Dry Cracked Fingers and Feet/Heels...
 - colder, drier climates can be brutal for chapped lips and dry cracked hands.  Many people wear open shoes or sandals in the summer months resulting in cracked heels.  We have a lot of people with diabetes that have issues with dry cracked feet.  Apply Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' several times a day until the skin has healed up.  Once the skin is reasonably soft again, you should be able to apply once or every other day.  Everyone is different.

Babies and Small Children...
 - anything from diaper rash to cradle cap to kids eczema!  Most products for diaper rash either dry the skin or clog the pores.  Thentix is not oily so doesn't clog pores, it allows the skin to breath and naturally hydrates with the honey, royal jelly and calendula.  Apply a few times a day for cradle cap - don't worry it won't make the hair greasy.  And kid's eczema it is amazing.  I suggest apply 3-4 times a day if you can.  You don't need huge amounts but get it on numerous times a day.  With some products, you are told to 'coat' the skin. Thentix lotion soaks in so you don't need to do this.  If it is sitting on the skin in huge layers you are using way too much.  Give it 2-3 weeks if necessary at 3-4 times and day.  I've had hundreds of people in western Canada clear up eczema this way.

Eczema and Psoriasis
While these two skin problems have entirely different causes, the application of Thentix to help is pretty much the same.  We are not going to 'cure' anything, as psoriasis for example, seems to be an internal immune system issue but you can have nice skin.  With these issues, apply a suitable amount of Thentix 3-4 times a day to the affected area.  Do this for three weeks.  In that time it should be cleared up or you will at minimum see an improvement - so keep going.  You don't need to slather it on.  Thentix lotion soaks in, it doesn't sit on the surface of the skin.  If you see it just sitting there then you have way, way too much.  The only time I have seen people have issues where psoriasis didn't clear up has been occasionally with Plaque Psoriasis. Even then I still have people that use it to help with the inflammation and itching.

Any kind of burn: Windburns, sunburn, oven burn...
Honey has been used for burns and wounds for thousands of years.  Other ingredients that help with this are vitamin E and Aloe Vera.  Apply immediately a small amount several times a day and it should help with the pain and prevent scarring.
Scars...
Same thing here - even if you have a new or old scar, apply some Thentix to it regularly and it should help clear it up.  The sooner you get to a scar after any injury the better.  I've had people tell that Thentix has helped with stretch marks and old acne scars as well.  (Again, it is the honey, aloe vera and Vitamin E at work...)

Varicose Viens and Hemorrhoids...
Thentix will help with the itching.  Remember it is a topical treatment and although designed to help increase the elasticity in the skin you are going to be able to affect smaller more surface type areas.

Shaving - face, legs, head, etc...(Men and Women)
Use Thentix to actually shave with.  I don't like fragrances and perfumes and most shaving products will have at least something like this.  And the soaps in most will dry the skin.  Thentix is water based so wet the skin and apply a small amount to the area to be shaved and work it in.  It will not lather up but is water based so will not clog the razor.  Go ahead and shave.  If the skin begins to get too dry add some warm/hot water and it will bring it right back out.  Usually, you do not have to apply any afterwards as you have already conditioned the skin while shaving.  If you use an electric razor, you can use Thentix as an aftershave as it hydrates so well.  Honey and Calendula are both humectants(that means they absorb and retain moisture) so you don't have to constantly reapply.

Athlete's Foot and Plantars Warts...
If you go through a public gym, health club or swimming pool, even when you wear something on your feet it is pretty easy to get Athlete's Foot or something or other.  Instead of a powder apply some Thentix to your feet after a workout and it will help prevent.  People have gotten rid of it using Thentix but if it is pretty bad can take a while.  In that case apply morning and night for as long as it takes. If it is really bad, get something like Tinactin from the pharmacy.  I don't like using something like Tinactin too much as I'm not sure of the scary chemicals in it. But sometimes ...!  Both honey and calendula extract are anti-fungal.  Plantars warts - warts are, I believe, caused by a virus.  So, when people tell me they have used Thentix lotion and gotten rid of them, I was initially kind of skeptical.  After several instances, I thought I'd try myself.  One woman told me it took her two months applying twice a day.  I did the same and they actually cleared up.  Weird.

Other uses for Thentix...
Rosaceae, seborrheic dermatitis, poison ivy & poison oak, edema(swelling), blisters, hangnails...
