Ingredients

Thentix ingredients include: honey, ginseng, royal jelly, vitamin A, Vitamin E, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Calendula Extract, Chamomile, Vitamin B5 and Sunflower Oil.

Thentix 'A Touch of Honey' was developed at the end of the 1990s by someone that had psoriasis for over 30 years.  He wanted something as natural as possible that wasn't steroids/cortisone.  Thentix lotion ingredients include: honey, ginseng, royal jelly, Vitamin E, Vitamin A, calendula Extract, Chamomile, Jojoba Oil, Avocado Oil, Sunflower oil, Vitamin B5... There are no parabens or perfumes added.  One can use it on the face as there  is no lanolin, glycerin or wax.  Most, even high end skin creams, have, as the first ingredient mineral oil, petrolatum or propylene glycol - petroleum products are fine for your car, not so much for your skin!

Health Care

Thentix soaks into the skin nicely and very quickly.  And stays with you.  Honey is a humectant - it absorbs and retains moisture.  As a result, when you wash your hands they become more hydrated instead of drier.  One of our biggest client bases is the health industry.  We work in a lot of hospitals selling Thentix as nurses and hospital staff are washing their hands constantly and using sanitizers and gloves and soaps that dry out their skin.  They come to me with knuckles that are red, dry and cracked.  Using Thentix, a few times a day for 10 days to a couple of weeks they can then apply a couple of times a day.  As you use this product, you will need it less.

Practical Uses

For example, I'm a swimmer. Between the chemicals in the water and the dry air here in Canada, if I'm not using Thentix in the winter, I wake up bleeding from scratching my calves in my sleep.  I may start by applying a couple of times a day for a couple of days then less and less over a few days until I'm only applying 2-3 times a week.

After the health industry (nurses, doctors, health clinics, etc.) our best customers are probably farmers. But we have food industry, cleaning people, lots of hair salons and such, drywallers, mechanics, bricklayers and welders; anyone that is in the cold, wet or using a lot of chemicals.  The honey and calendula and royal jelly will help the skin retain moisture so that the skin doesn't get so destroyed in these situations.

In Northern Alberta we have the men on the rigs and oil fields using Thentix on their faces to keep them from getting windburn, because, again, the ingredients in Thentix hold on to moisture and thus keep the skin hydrated even when the temperatures are 40-50 degrees below freezing.
